KMC-1500V

HIGH RIGID CONSTURCTION

  • Extra wide 4-way bed construction, with an extra 1420 mm (55.9") span, ensure high precision machining accuracy.
  • Major parts of the machine are constructed of high quality MEEHANITE cast iron, incorperating with reinforced ribs design, to get the best rigidity and stability fro heavy-duty machining.
  • All 3-axis are fully supported by hardened square guideways within strokes and there is no displacements caused by overhang on the KMC-1500V.
  • All sliding surgaces are coated with wear-resistant TURCITE-B to ensure smooth axis movement without stick-slip.

HIGH RIGID SPINDLE HEAD

  • Machine equips with a 15 HP / 20 HP spindle motor with two (2) steps gear transmission. (20 HP / 25 HP optional)
  • Standard spindle speed is 4,390 rpm. (6,000 / 8,000 rpm optional)
  • The spindle is supported by grease packed superprecision angular contact ball bearings to minimize heat gerneration.
  • The lubrication for both spindle and the gear box is forced-cooled by the standard oil cooling system, to ensure spindle pretection from thermal displacement.
  • Due to our unique design of the tool-release hydraulic cylinder, there is no external forces will apply onto the spindle bearing when tool changing.
  • Guiding and safety design for the spindle counter-balance system.
  • An universal angle head can widely extend machining versatility. (optional)
  • Coolant through spindle system includes the large capacity of coolant tank, hight pressure coolant pump, with duplex filter. (optional)

AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGING SYSTEM

  • The thirty-two (32) stations chain type tool magazine, driven by an electric motor provide a highly smooth and stable tool change.
  • The ATC system is cam driven with simplified construction.
  • The side-mounted double arm tool change system provides with a 3.7 sec tool to tool changing time.
  • Fourty (40) tools magazine. (optional)

FEED SYSTEM

  • All 3-axis servo motor are directly mounted to ball screw to maintain the positioning accuracy.
  • The 50 mm (2") diamter ballscrews are pretensioned and supported on both ends by heavy load high precision angular contact ball bearings. This provide outstanding positioning repeatability and rigidity.

INSPECTION AND ACCURACY

  • Ball bar circulation and laser measuring inspection are used for getting the best machining accuracy.
  • Positioning Accuracy is ± 0.00019” / 11.81" and repeatability accuracy is ± 0.0001” .
